Cardiff Quins Girls rugby run 2 age group teams of girls playing in the South Wales and West of England area. An under-15 team covers girls between school years 8, 9 and 10 and an under-18 team which covers girls between school years 11, 12 and 13. Both age groups provide a significant number of players to the Cardiff Blues age-grade teams and the u18’s have a number of Welsh u20 internationals, Welsh squad members who played at the 2011 Touch Rugby World Cup in Edinburgh and Welsh Schools players, who won gold, at the 2011 UK School Games in Sheffield and won the bowl competition at the 2012 games.
During this summer we have started an u13 development age group for girls in year 6, 7 & 8. It’s a way to learn the game of rugby and enjoy meeting new friends. New players are welcome and no experience is necessary.
New players always welcome.
The girls train on a Wednesday evening at Cardiff Harlequins RFC (formerly CHSOB RFC) Whitchurch, Cardiff between 7pm – 8:30pm. Contact us for more info.
